Joomla News not publishing my News? Topic is solved

Hi all?

My question is, what is the lag time between submitting some News to Joomla News area of this website and that piece of news getting published?

I submitted a news item a few weeks back and it has yet to appear. Is there a limit to how many items Joomla  News releases at a time? My news item is specific to Joomla and I believe of interest to many in the community.

There is no set time.  It is all done on a volunteer basis.  Whatever time people have outside of their 'real lives' to donate to the cause is what determines the 'lag time'

No.  However, there is a limit to how much time can be spent on news publishing on a volunteer basis.  Everyone currently with access to news publication at this time is also a member of 1 or more working groups, which keeps us all very busy.
