No web, no SVN ...
This is now as bad as the old forge was in my view.
Is there a plan to do something to improve the situation?

I know
. We're in contact with Gforge about the issue, they are very responsive. The thing is that Gforge is eating all Postgres connections until there are none left. Then the 'Unhandled Exception' comes forward. When you look at the source of that page, it also shows the number of connections has been reached. Restarting Postgres will solve this, until the number of connection will be growing again.

cant you guys use a server load cut out like some forums use, so when the site gets to an unbearable point it cuts out to prevent this happening.
Once the site has calmed down it will go back online?
An idea???

It's not server load, load on the server is fine and within all parameters. The problem is the Postgres connections being taken, until the limit has been reached.

Are you saying that Postgres is not releasing connections properly? That sounds like a bug.
It I misinterpreted your comment about Postgres connections and the server is not overloaded it suggests that more connections should be made available (or is there an absolute limit in Postgres?).
Hopefully GForge will find a solution.
Thanks for all the hard work
