Since, you all already probably know, most of the general web developers are based in India... Normally Bangalore...

I am in New Delhi and have been using Joomla for over a year and just love its awesomeness...

I would like to take this oppurtunity to promote Joomla here in India and to form a local community to promote it and get the word out...

To do this and to make Joomla days possible I am starting with a website called http://joomlawords.com

It will basically be a community for Everyone but promoting Joomla in India mostly.

I will use it as a base to create the first Joomla Day which will take loads of effort and all help is appreciated.

Regards,

Ankush Mittal

It is suggested you contact vish http://forum.joomla.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1497 our Devanagari/Indic languages coordinator.

Hi,

Yes I agree with Jean-Marie. Also if you try to organize a Joomla!Day the best idea is to get in touch with your translation team. They might appreciate your help.

Cheers

Alex
