I can't download the latest Joomla 1.5. I guess the sever is down? Anyone know when it's expected to be up?

Thats likely to be a problem on the server again. I'll send out an email so they can have a look and get it running again.

I found a link on BetaNews, but it simply gets it from joomlacode.org
Is there any possible (and safe) way to get Joomla 1.5 RC4 with Joomlacode being down?

I am new to joomla and I am afraid about its resources because in two days I was not able to download almost anything from joomlacode... is this normal? do you need a better hosting maybe? or is it a joomla security hole that produces to this server down?

Hi Trompe,
The current situation sure isn't normal. We are running the biggest GForge setup so it's a challenge to keep it up and running. A team is looking at it and hopefully we can get this fixed soon.
Make sure you stick around, it's worth it
