Is there an alternate site to download Joomla besides Joomlacode.org? I have been trying all day and the site seems to be down.

Thanks Chad,
I downloaded 1.0.13 from rapidshare, unzipped it & did an install & everything worked great.
Thanks a lot,

"Joomlacode" as in "http://joomlacode.org" - the site you download the Joomla files from
"back up" as in "online again"

Are there any mirrors from where I can download 1.5 stable and migration scripts?

I agree, there needs to be mirrors as a contigency plan - otherwise no new users will be brought to your project because it will never be available to them. Maybe you should either use more than one server, or perhaps use sourceforge to host the files.

How rude
Things are getting better with Joomlacode, Brad found some issues there lately, we'll have maintenance on friday so it should start working as it should.
Sorry for the issues!

We should have or rather need an official joomla torrent site. This could release some burden from joomlacode.org and can help others share the load as well.

While it's nice idea (why not after all?) I assure you that downloads are not the problem for our boxes
I'll be checking few things on Friday, we'll see if it will help.
