how to show a picture in content place?

i was wondering how can i show a picture in the content place? im providing a thumbnail in my contents hyperlinking it to the full size one.now i want when users click on it the picture appears in the content place instead of a blank page with picture in middle.

I think this forum can't help you in this issue. Your problem is related to PHP and javascript. You've to create appropriate module for that using PHP and JavaScript. It will be better if you discuss this matter on any php javascript forum. Joomla manages the contents using the modules avilable here. To do more you've to create new modules and associate it with joomla.
