Joomlacode down again

Seriously this is getting silly
I absolutely appreciate the Joomla community and all the amazing work they do. But the site needs to be available no matter what. It's down more or less all the time now. This is going to turn a lot of people off the whole Joomla experience.
No matter how great the effort of people, no matter how wonderful the product - it amounts to zero if the site is down.
Would you agree that there is a need contingency for these files now? joomlacode.org is just unusable!
