Austin Joomla Group

Post by qneal78710 » Thu Feb 07, 2008 4:28 am

For those wanting to create a group in Austin, TX just go to http://www.yourchillzone.com, go into the Groups section and search for the "Austin Joomla" group and join. After joining we will be discussing possible places to have a meet and greet so that everyone will get a chance to know others in the Joomla community. This helps others wanting professional services on their websites but don't know anyone in the area with the skills. I've experienced this where I had to get help from somebody overseas instead of getting help from someone I can see with my own eyes (although the help from overseas has been top notch, it's good to know people within your hometown).

Hey, good luck with your Joomla group in Austin, I believe you are our sister city. I'm from Adelaide, South Australia and I would be there if I didn't have to travel so far :D

All the best

Thanks silversurfer. I just figured if I'm having problems meeting people in my area who are interested in Joomla software, then there are probably others. You can join if you like or curious as to how the website is created. Spread the word when possible.

Take Care,

Qtip

Thanks Qtip, I'm flattered, I'll look at it shortly, busy building my new Joomla site at the moment.
