Some issues/suggestions from a new user

I can't figure out which board to post this in, so this seems like a safe bet.
I'm new to Joomla and using CMS's in general and with that in mind, some comments:
-------------------
On this website:
- On the main page the link to joomla 1.0 is higher than 1.5. This will predispose people to using the above one as it's more visible - I know I originally downloaded 1.0 for this reason.
- The "Download" link for 1.5 takes you to a "please log in" screen. Which seems a bit silly when the 1.0 link does not. And the 1.0 link has 1.5 on when you scroll to the bottom anyway.
- The "FAQ" linked to from the front page is pointless. Two questions an FAQ does not make.
---------------
The Joomla help:
- The help pages are semi-useless I'm afraid to say. There are large tracts of text that say stuff like:
"Describe any significant changes between the 1.0.x series and the 1.5 version of this particular screen. For example Content Items are now Articles and Static Content Items have become Unassigned Articles. Use paragraph format type and do not add extra white space. Ensure that you use the correct styles for inline emphasis and notices."
Which is a place-holder, except if you're not expecting place-holders you might think it's the help and be confused for a few minutes (happened to me anyway).
The other problem is, some of the pages have text that is actual valid help, and some of it is place-ment holders. And you can't tell without reading the entire page which just wastes time. Example:
http://help.joomla.org/index2.php?optio ... manager.15
This confused me initially.
--------
Joomla proper
- Typo - The pop-up help tag for "New user registration type" in global config -> System has applied spelt wrong (an extra d).
- In my own mind, the difference between "save" and "apply" in computing is neglegible. Most programs use one OR the other. And the functionality of these buttons within joomla also seems to be different again to what seems to be the norm. I would suggest making it clear what the difference is between the two, maybe renaming one or both to something else, sorry but no suggestions come to mind.
- Emailing passwords is a security vulnerability (it happens when a new account is created).
- Joomla seems to allow two users to log into the same account at the same time. Isn't that a bit iffy? At least I could log into admin twice (with two different browser instances) at once.
Having said all that, it's a nice, well presented program. It's just a shame your documentation is seriously lacking (though that's the norm with Open-Source stuff anyway). And no, forums don't make up for proper documentation/"How to get started".
