I'm not into the tech details of this forum (yet), but my guess is that it is a default theme of phpBB3.

It depends if you want to integrate phpBB into Joomla! or not.

Assuming that you're going to want to integrate phpBB3 and Joomla! 1.5, one extension (that I know of) that will allow you to do this is rokBridge by RocketWerx.

It’s close, but not quite.
Although only a couple of CSS changes will make the default theme look more like this.

One of the biggest things I’ve noticed is the... bigger text.

You can adjust the text size. Top right of all pages.

I guess we have to pick one... sadly, people will complain either way. So, the tools are provided to allow people to choose instead of complaining. We've worked very hard for Joomla, and feel that we have brought great benefits to the community as a result. I'm sorry that you are disappointed though.

You may have some idea about what a huge undertaking migrating this forum was. I'm still tired after the week, and spending every free moment slowly getting on top of things.

No problem, even converting our board (phpBB.com) from phpBB2 to phpBB3 was not without it’s own bit of difficulties. -- Just have to weather the storm, it’s better on the other side.

Unfortunately, changing it there does not keep the new size for the next session. Anyway, maybe something to put way down on the todo list, great job so far Was really pleasantly surprised when I came back here after a long time to see the familiar look of phpBB3.
