Hello,
Thanks a lot for your efforts.
Something hilarious is going arround on the RTL forums, at least the Arabic One
1- After implementing the new forum's software the RTL code is mirroring the letters not the complete word itself
so if write Meow within an Arabic context and I used the code, the output is mirrored to be woeM
Here's the current output of (Meow) using the code: Meow
2- The right to left alignment is missing and this is essential for the RTL forums.
Thanks a lot for your efforts.
RTL is mirroring!

I used the suggested BBcode for RTL. Do you have any suggestions for what it should be?

Mmm,
What about taking a look over the BB code of the old SMF forum and try tweaking the current one according to it?
Software differes, I know, however there should be some similarities for the two problems and I'm not that expert
p.s. Let the Cats yawns correctly not mirrored
Thanks again

Re: RTL is mirroring!
The SMF bbcode was built in, and I have no idea what it actually did.
Are you saying, all you really want is a right justify option, and Arabic etc (RTL) will be fine then?

Re: RTL is mirroring!
Built-IN? I see!
Right-to-Left solves the alignment which means reading the RTL language correctly without overlaping of the words when combining it with Latin-based Languages. To get my idea, write an english phrase and place any arabic/rtl language text in between then align it to the right and see how things will go. (copy fron the Arabic or any RTL forum)
Actualy I don't think it's related to the prob as this is mirror: the letters of the word itself are mirrored but maybe!
I also noticed that the forums name in the browsing menu 'Jump-to:' (the pull-down menu) are flapped.
Maybe Arabic/RTL mods can help?
