Joomla Forums search is borken.

Can the Forum admin please visit Ubuntu Forums for ideas on how to implement a fourm wide searching that is easily visible. It will cut down on double posting if we have robust searching easily visible.

It was broken in the last forum set up, and its broken now. Please fix it.

I can find no clear intuitive way to do a forum wide search.

Since converting 1.2+ million posts means that they will have to completely rebuild the search index, it is currently in the process of being built, people will just have to be patient until everything is indexed.
In the mean time, users can use the Google Search located in the menu bar near the top of the page.
