Official Joomla Release urls require passwords?

I need to download some older Joomla! releases and went to the official releases page here:

http://www.joomla.org/content/blogcategory/32/66/

The links for the full packages either require a password or take me to a empty file 'listing' on joomlacode.org.

Is this an error or have the packages been moved? If they've been moved, updating the official release announcements might be prudent.

Edit:

Access to older versions is really important to people who have customized core files and now need to upgrade. As they can then diff their custom joomla with a default install of that version

They used to be available, don't know why there are hidden now. I'll ask around.

The older versions have been hidden due to security reasons, for developers it's easy enough to use the SVN build numbers and create a release from there.

That said, the front page should reflect that and also be changed so there won't be any confusion.
