Upgrade Newsletter

I searched and wasn't able to find anything on this. I currently run/manage many Joomla based sites. Do you think it'd be possible to have a upgrade newsletter that sends an email when an upgrade is released?

You have the option of subscribing to Security as well as Important Joomla anouncements.
