Using Ajax / Javascript in a component
Posted: Sun Mar 16, 2008 3:49 pm
I need to use Javascript (Ajax) for an autocomplete input field in my component. But I don't know how to make this work in my joomla component. Could someone show me the way?
This is my ajax code. It also uses jQuery.
rpc.php
The code works outside of joomla but when I put it inside my component file, it doesn't work anymore. Perhaps something to do with the code not being in the <head> part? Please help me!
This is my ajax code. It also uses jQuery.
Code: Select all
