Being banned, as in 'why'?

Post by Zanchyn » Tue Mar 18, 2008 11:23 pm

Hi,

If this post is banned, than I'm really lost.

I posted 2 posts and all of those got banned stating 'spam'. Ok, but why?

I did nothing else than other posts did, asking for support and people willing to do some volunteering. It was about an art project, and hej I did not refer to any website or anything. I asked the mods what happened, but they simply banned me, not responding to my question why I got banned. Is this the way it goes in joomla or am I missing something?

Is this the right place to post such questions? Or who should I ask for explanation? I really have no clue what happened, so you can imagine it is kinda weird to see this happening. Anyone?

It's not weird.. you have posted this same message all over the internet. You continue to signup on multiple accounts on our forum and continue to post the message in various different languages as well.

What more do you want us to say? You're spamming our users, and we don't permit this.

Oh, and you posted this message in the Lounge. I will move it to the right place now.

.. and here you go again.. posting this same message in Dutch. BTW I can read enough Dutch to understand.

I will delete that other message now..

When you signed up, all the rules were presented to you. Just in case you didn't read them, and it seems that way, they are listed in every forum in pink up the top as well as up the top right of the forum. Link: http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=65

Are you going to follow them, or do you want to get banned for the 3rd time?
