Joomla Forge ?

What's up with the Joomla developers Forge ?
for the past two days, whenever I click the Developer link on Joomla.com... I am redirected to
http://developer.joomla.org/forbidden.html 
I cant be the only one... I see no notification that it's down for maintenange !
Please keep us updated...

Mod note: moved to correct forum.
http://developer.joomla.org/sf/sfmain/do/home loads just fine for me.
Perhaps you have something running in your browser that the forge does not like. Have you tried another browser?

Right you are Brad ! Opened in Firefox no-problem, how bizzzzare
I wonder what might have changed ?
Could you immagine that microsoft incuded some or other bug fix that's not happy with the way cookies are handled or something ?
Well I'm not gonna break a sweat to figure out the some paranoia in my browser, Guess from here on out it's FIREFOX! Tough "Cookies" for my clients !

Brad,
Is anyone looking into this? I have not been able to get into the forge for about a month now when using IE. Firefox is/has always been fine.
The problem is that I refer folks from the samSiteMap website to the forge directly (to download samSiteMap). If they are using IE, they can't get in.

It loads for me in IE ... i usually use FF, but just tested it in IE6 on XP

It's due to something running in your browser that makes the site think you are a search engine spider. Perhaps try to find out what piece of software is causing that??

It sounds like a security program or filtering software or sorts? Are you trying to access this on a corporate or other network that has this type of technology installed?

I run XP on a windows computer for the IE, which is the only one having the problem, and the only one running IE. It runs Mcafee VS, which I have tried disabling. I also run a few plugins for IE, so will try disabling those as well.
Here's the crux of what I am concerned about. I run the most vanilla installation that I can, in an affort to be on a platform that will be the most common to my customers that I can get to. I use a netgear router (NAT) and have several computers behind it. The Netgear is attached to a cable modem. I do not use a firewall.
If this were network or firewall related, none of the unix boxes in my lab, or the firefox on my windows would be able to connect either. They all connect without problem.
I will investigate the IE plugins, but nothing extraordinary there except perhaps the google toolbar. I did turn it off, but that did not help. Next I will try disabling it. The remainder of the plugins are things like flash,java,etc...
I can accept that this might be in my configuration, but I run as basic as I can. Security settings are very moderate, and Privacy too. I have also tried changing pertinant settings in both of those.

Just ran some tests and for me it seems that the server/application configuration checks for signs of download spiders/robots to lock them out. Unfortunately many people are using download managers that add an information to the "User-Agent" header to indicate their presence (in my case FreeDownloadManager that adds "FDM").
Trying to the page using IE returns a HTTP 302 redirect to /forbidden.html. Using the same headers but with the FDM removed everything works well.

By sending the same request without "; FDM" I was able to get the right result.
So, what is causing this ? I would say that either the security related setup of the Forge application or the container configuration should be checked ;o)
I hope this helps a little bit to finally correct this behaviour since the current settings will lock 5 percent or even more of potential users (according to my statistics abour 50% are using IE.
