Why a WAP button?

I noticed today when I logged into the site that you guys have added a WAP2 mode button.  Was there a reason for this?  Technically, it's unneeded because of the face that SMF can automatically detect the device that you are using to acces the forum and format the page as needed (?action=wap, ?action=wap2, ?action=imode).

Among other things, I was hoping to alert users to the fact that you can browse via WAP. Also hoping that it may be a psuedo-archive (a function missing from SMF).

Ah, I see.  Luckily for you, I'm currently in the process of deleoping an "archive" theme for SMF, much like that of vB.
