well why would a site like forge.joomla.org be blacklisted. I'm just puzzled about that. Unless of course the term blacklist has differs from the commonly understood negative connotation

A site gets blacklisted when someone submits an email to the blacklist from a source they 'think' is sending out spam. Sadly someone (a few people) must have done that with emails sent out by the forge. This is no big deal as the IP operator will get the IP de-listed soon.

Hope you get whitelisted soon. Maybe a small step towards hardening against spammers and being blocked is using a SPF record on your domain(s). Because at this moment there isn't any (check:
http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/spf.ch?se ... 35.250.233 )
Easy to implement and although it's not a waterproof solution; it's a start...
