Searching the forum gives a 'Database error' message

I had the same problem a minute ago.

I keep getting an error message when searching the forums? Anyone else having this issue?

Getting:

Database Error
Please try again. If you come back to this error screen, report the error to an administrator. 

Whenever I try to search for ANYTHING! Please help.... if I can't search, I may relapse into asking stupid questions again!

The forum administrators were (still are?) making tweaks to the search engine index tables. They are probably still running the task in the background, but are allowing us to use the forum at the same time. It was hinted that they do know about this issue in the following thread:

I will wait until Brad returns to life with the search field problem. Don't want to do damage when doing things I have no knowledge of yet.

Thanks for the info guys .... I will chill until it is fixed! 

Search function is not working correctly. We are doing all we can to sort out the other issues.
