link block playing up in opera

The main site nav block sits vertical, and when mouse goes over, it ups and moves out of clickable reach.
Also found similar result on jamboworks...

The computer used to create this post is also employing the same configuration (7.5.3) with similar results. The IT folks here at the local college aren't the most speedy at deploying updates. Phil, just out of curiousity, why aren't you using the newer version of Opera?

Well, I just never got around to it
The version I am running has worked well enough for me for some time.

Any issues with newer versions of Opera? I haven't tested with Opera lately I must confess.

I use Opera on one of my machines and
in Opera 7.5 the Top menu in OSM and Joomla would show up Vertical not horizontal
I loaded Opera 8.02 and all is well

ok, upgraded, and all is fine...

Not everyone will upgrade...

it took
less than 5 minutes to do the simple upgrade
Its not that big a deal. I never upgraded til I had to.

but keeping up to date is a chore.
Im not sure on % use of browsers. but in development Im sure someone on the team has that job
if they dont they should
