Is anyone else getting some email notifications hours - or a day - after these were originally sent. PM are also being sent twice sometimes, too. This has been happening today and yesterday.

Maybe it's just me!

Sometime things like this may happen. Email can get 'stuck' inthe queue, receiveing email servers might be busy, attempts will be made later.

Not seen the double PM's myself though. I guess button might have been pressed twice.

For example, Brad, I got a note from Richard, my documentation boss (he's a real task master) from this morning at 1 am. I think I got it then -- but, I just got it again a few minutes ago.

I got a PM this morning around 6:30am. And, I got it again an hour, or so, ago. (This one I know I got this morning).

Plus, notifications on forum topics -- several of them -- got emails earlier, then later.

Maybe it's my ISP. I ignored many and then started thinking this could really be a problem for others.

not a big deal - just throwing it out there to see if it's happening to others.

There are a few messages in the queue <200 I am trying to send them all now.

i just got two more PM messages from 8 this morning - both from a guy in japan - got them this morning already. something weird is going on for sure. do you think clearing the queue will fix whatever that was? weird. (not a biggie) amy

You had quite a few stuck in queue.. no idea why only you... maybe your receiveing mail server was down/slow earlier.

just to confirm that this is not only happening to amy.
i also got several notifications for one reply over the week.
at first, i thought there was something wrong with my e-mail server
and didn't take any further attemp to fix this.
but after seeing what amy described here, i think this issue was originated
through joomla email server.

i affirmly would say no, i think i rarely made this mistake.

Don't worry.. happening to me too...

I think there is just some funky time warp going on with email servers.
