Translation projects validation process on the forge

Hi,

What's the point of being an official translation partner if you guys validate any translation project submitted !?

For instance, there are currently 4 french translation projects hosted on the forge, only one is "official". If the 3 other project admins are not aware of the "official" translation partner existence, who is able to tell them besides you? These guys will spend countless hours translating stuff that has already been translated in many cases.

One of those guys has harcoded the whole 1.0.8 backend to french while we (official partner) had this work almost done. Now we will have to spend extra time merging our works  >:(

Most of the times, when somebody wants to do a translation project that already has one, I point them out to that resource first (and reject the request). I probably didn't for this particular occasion, will try to be more precise in this. People normally only want to open a project when the hard work has been done.

If somebody really wants to. we do allow more translations from the same language in Forge. Just like we accept multiple components which have the same functionality.
