Please if you write news - specialy commercial! (i absolutely see no sense in doin so - as long joomla.org or the community not particiaptes!) be objective!

2.)
As i read on the site this player got produced this year.
But their is allready such a component/module what does exactly this http://www.jlleblanc.com / http://www.jeroenwijering.com/.
Its really easy to handle...
And odd the player from the news looks just like a ripoff from the original.

3.)
As i understand it joomla is pushing open source and free knowledge - not adverting some commercial stuff where just 1 guy gets everything.

This news and the way it is written (just pure advert style) plain suxxors.
And again this player pwnzors http://www.jeroenwijering.com/?item=Flash_MP3_Player the ripoff 100% straight commercial 1.
AND ITS FREE FFS!

Please see: http://extensions.joomla.org You will find commercial and open source projects list. However our forge only hosts open source projects, that may be where your confusion is originating from.

sorry for my behaviour i was over reacting.
But i wish there would be a "rule" which acknowledge that those news needs to fullfill a criteria in the sense of OSM.
This could be a "not" 100% commercial news, eg. private use free - commercial purpose pay.

Just see the potential of this news site. A product placement as such is just free advert for just 1 guy.
I dont think this helps the community.

And id like to be able to comment at least those news.
