When trying to activate SCM for my project, I get the following error messages:

Could not create repository: Error while executing command: su '-s' '/bin/sh' '-c' '/usr/bin/cvs "-d" "/cvsroot/rsgallery" "init"' 'nobody' - Stderr: "shell-init: error retrieving current directory: getcwd: cannot access parent directories: No such file or directory cvs [init aborted]: cannot get working directory: No such file or directory " Stdout: ""

Is there somebody that can help me out here, or am I just missing something?

Ronald

I tried selecting cvs as an option, and it failed...
tried the svn option, and had no probs.
For software to access, I got RapidSVN because this comp is running 98SE

TortoiseSVN is hosted on the same site, which is for later versions of windows....

The above post will also probably help.

Thanks,

Using SVN worked. I never tried SVN before but it seems pretty similar to CVS.
Tortoise SVN client is working nicely.

Thanks again,

CVS should work -- I'll file a bug report against the issue you reported.
Subversion appears fine.

We bouned the integration server and the CVS repo creation should work correctly (VA Support tested it out with no problems).
Please post again if you caontinue to have a problem and we'll go to the next level of investigation.
