remove an empty repository?

I was going through the process of setting my project up and created a repository before I understood, exactly, what I was doing (
pretty typical... it's how I learn ). Anyways... I have no need for that repository as I've created on that is correct. How can I go about removing it?
Can I remove it?
Is it going to take up a bit of space in the 'great blue nowhere' for eternity?

Hmmm - I don't know how it can be removed -- I'll ask those who know more than me (of which there are many...)
Regarding space -- nah. It'll take a realtively insignificant amount of space. Disk space is cheap these days -- don't loose any sleep over it
(please post your project name and the name of the repository you want zapped and we'll see what can be done).

I also have this question. We has accidentally created a CVS and a Subversion repository we don't use, who do we contact to clean these up?

for future reference, is it possible to let project admin delete their own repository?
I like to keep things clean, and it would create less confusion with other project member

How to delete an unneeded repository?
Anyone get answer to this?

Is a JoomlaForge administrator required to accomplish this?
Is there a specific place to request this?
Many people are going to create test repositories to learn with.
New SVN users (like me) will not be testing on the repositories setup by knowlegable users.
For obvious reasons.
Disk space is not the issue.
Organization and not confusing other users are the issues.
The Joomla project has had a few repository changes in its short life.
Any answers yet?

I agree that this will help users. We have 3 unused repositories and I have trouble finding the correct repository on the web. Some admin delete capability would be very handy.

I too am looking for this - I accidentally created a CVS repository where I wanted a SVN one and now I can't get rid of it. I've renamed it - "this is a mistake please ignore" but it looks a bit silly.

There is no way to delete a repository as a project administrator.
Post a list of repositories here and I'll try and get them deleted. I will *only* consider removing empty repositories at this point as validating ownership of used repositories takes a bit more time. I might be able to do a second pass for that stuff. Please be patient, this is a manual process and won't happen overnight, but I will personally do my best to make it happen.
Thanks

I don't have access to do it myself, but I have opened a ticket on the issue.
Thanks
