Can we have a button in that takes you to the first post in a thread that you haven't read?
It is almost THE most needed button on any forum IMHO. Especially when you get threads with 10+ pages, you don't want to be remembering on which page you left..

I know this may take a bit of a hit on the database, but we've already survived a Slashdotting, so this shouldn't be much of a problem, right?

Eh... just click on the "new" button behind each title.
