ElearningForce DK has released Multisites Site Manager PRO Component version 1.0.3 for easy quick and efficient making the admin and creation of Multisites for Joomla! 1.0.8.
Have SINGLE LOGIN on your sites!
http://extensions.joomla.org/component/ ... Itemid,35/How can this be listed as v 1.5 compatible if it is for J! 1.0.8?

I hate even to ask you guys since you get tortured frequently. But, what is the criteria for having this designation? I assumed that meant it had been developed for that platform and found by the third party developer to be compatiable. (I am not saying tested by Joomla!, or any such thing.) Is it just an intention by the 3PD? I guess I am uncertain what it means.
I am working with v. 1.5 and using the seach function to find options for the site owner.
Sorry.

Thanks!
Amy

Hi AmyStephen,
The developer propably forgot to update the listing info, cause the website tells its compatible with Joomla! 1.0.10.
If its compatible also for Joomla! 1.5 then the tag can be added.
* Will ask the owner to update the info. Thanks.

I looked on the website but didn't see that about 1.0.10. The tag for 1.5 is there, already.
My bigger question though is what can we take the 1.5 tag to mean? Does it mean the 3rd party developer has already got the product ready for v 1.5? Or, that they intend to?
Thanks!
Amy

The website says its compatible with Joomla! 1.0.10:
http://www.elearningforce.dk/joomla-com ... onent.htmlOnly if an extension is actually compatible with and ready for Joomla! 1.5 the tag for that can be used.
If it isn“t the tag should and will be removed

Cool! I think what I missed was the "PRO" part - sorry for making you go to a 3rd party site for me to find what I should have been able to see. Sorry!

Thanks on the definition. That is *exactly* what I was hoping you would say. Perfect!

You are your team do great work and I appreciate it very much. Thanks!

A brief followup:
This particular extension has now been updated. Now saying 1.0.10 and no 1.5 tag.
The owner of the extension told that all their extensions will be made 1.5 compatible later.
Thanks for bringing up this question

It made us aware that some cleanup of the use of this 1.5 tag is needed.
