I got a different message this time - looks like an overload (genuine or malicious)
A SourceForge system error has occurred. Backend start-up failed: org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: FATAL: connection limit exceeded for non-superusers
If you feel you have received this message in error, please contact the SourceForge administrator and reference this tracking number: exid4223FAE901069BA780C134F6

Sorry to be a pain - would someone mind e-mailing me Joomla 1.0.1 while the download facility is broken? It seems pretty well quarantined on the web and I've got to have a site up and running in 30 minutes

Thanks in advance

We have auto monitoring tools that flag us 24x7 if there is a site issue.
I also need to fix the forum link on the site maintenance page when we are down -- it currently points to the croation forum(!)

To follow up on what was going on: at first we thought that maybe the download traffic was getting too high, but further log analysis revealed that the forge site was hit by a webcrawler two nights in a row, which was following all links and simply bringing the system to its knees. The support team put together a robots.txt file, which we hope will be respected by this webcrawler...
(assuming the problem reported in this thread is the same issue we were working on...)
