Forum UI suggestions

I would like to offer a few UI suggestions for your forum styling.

- The child boards are so tiny and in italics that its hard to make them out. They also blend in with the 'moderators' for that forum. I know this is a proactively moderated forum, so please dont take it personally when I suggest that having the information there seems to be a little bit redundant.

- The ui ( see attached ) switches when no child boards are present. Visually confusing as there is no distinction between moderator links and child boards.

^ my suggestion for these 2 is only show the child boards & style them in a more visible fashion.

- searching - the same goes here too. I have to say that microtext em tags are hard to read.

Anyways, just trying to help you guys keep the UI under control .. keep up the good work :)

Me niether. Its the illegibility of text and poor forum ui that keeps me from using it. Until a better solution presents itself I going with the industry leader (vB).

I dont like vB's output markup mishmash or the enless admin menus or the complicated template system.
BUT - I dont care .. because it has the best forum UI in the world.
Thats all a user cares about, because thats all they see.

Some of the other suggestions are pretty basic: edit the css file and remove the italics declarations.
