Format of notification emails

I notice that the format of notification emails from this joomla SMF forum is much better than the default. Is it a hack to any particular file? I checked on the SMF forum also, but there is no clear direction anywhere.

It probably involves Post.php, but I have not been successful in improving the code.

Notification email from our forum on joomlaspan.com:

While the email from this forum is much neater:

The text of the reply is shown below:

Text of the new post XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Interestingly even the text of the new message is included. I appreciate any hints.

Moving this to the web site forum, as it isn't really involved with bridging,

If you look in SMF admin, you will see options to enable the sending of post contents in the email.

Thanks brad  :)

I found the 'post text' option under 'Features and Options > Basic Features > Don't allow post text in notifications?'. Interestingly, the option chosen was to receive post text in notifications, but it was NOT happening so.

I was in fact more interested in knowing how the format was streamlined. If you notice the second link in the reply quoted from replies on our forum, the word 'More' is also included as a part of the link!

We might be using an older email template.. not sure. However the guys over at SMF should be able to explain how/where to edit this :)

No clear answers are there at the SMF site too...

Thank you anyway!
