Re: Discussion about : Andrew Eddie Says Goodbye but not Farewell
Sorry for my ignorance in such matters, but what does an "agent" do? Only one I'm familiar with is Agent Smith in Matrix.. (bit of fun, but serious question: is this an important position for OSM?) Simply the law regarding Not-For-Profit organisations in New York State requires a person or an entit...

Re: DISCUSSION: Resources: Joomla Components, Modules, and Mambots
For crying out aloud - half the Joomla community are linking every query for components to this list!

I placed a link to this thread in the techzone quality and testing board http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic,23837.0.html
Perhaps someone has seen a similar problem.
I think you should bring it up with your host admin and try installing on another machine (even locally) and load your data.

Re: Discuss about : Upgrade to Joomla! 1.0.4 Security Release now!
I am wondering about a couple things: 1. I entered all the news items in one afternoon as the user, Mike. Then I logged in as Super Administrator and overrode the Created Date for each one. Maybe a bug in the code associated with using override? 2. I know nothing about mySQL. When I open phpMyAmin,...

Re: Discuss about : Upgrade to Joomla! 1.0.4 Security Release now!
I'm having problems that I think might be related to this issue. Please help! Problem: I have Latest News on my Front Page. The navigation links at the bottom do not function properly. End >> 1. Clicking on 2 or 3 or 4 (etc.) or Next or End does not always change the display of news items. 2. If th...

Re: Discussion about: We need your Joomla! badges
If you look closely at their logo you will see that it is comprised of two intelrinked arrows. The joomla! logo is made up of four interlinked people. If you colour in a plus sign rotate it 45 degrees you will also get something that looks like - well a colored rotated plus sign Brian ... but you m...

Anyone else finding the Forge very slow?
I am finding the response time of the forge incredibly slow especially while working with the task management facility.
I've tried changing browsers and hosts and still it seems very slow.
Am I alone

Re: Joomla! Forge Q&A
Great forge!
A small how-to question:
How does one use a svn client (such as tortoise) to checkout the joomla sources? After opening an account there was an email mentioning that the username and password are valid for the SCM. So far have had no response from svn://scm.joomla.org.
Thanks
