Whilst on topic of locations, Belgian Beer gardens on St Kilda road are nice: http://www.belgianbeercafemelbourne.com/Beer_Garden.asp
Just thought might be easier to talk at places like this unlike most city pubs.

Google PR for www.joomla.org
Just wanted to pass on congrats...after recent Google PR update w has gone from PR of 0 (unranked) to 8. Thats only 1 down from mamboforge which has been around for much longer :-) To put that into a perspective, joomla.org has only existed for 2 months and 3 days... another supreme example of commu...

Re: Core hacks to have its own section or subsection on forums ?
Thanks Brad, however that is more targeted at developing (ie adding new rather then changing existing code). I have made some changes to a few modules and core includes which in my opinion would be of a benefit to others. (ie not for specific niche requirements but quiet general ones so would be of ...

Core hacks to have its own section or subsection on forums ?
I have been using Mambo and now Joomla for quiet some time (since 4.5.0) and I think that a section or subsection for core hacks would be really useful. It would serve two purposes: 1. Communication between members who have exhausted searches for 3rd party addons to achieve a task and now considerin...

Just curious,
does anyone know what these will include: http://developer.joomla.org/sf/projects/joomla_addons (Joomla! Addons) ?

Documentation sources list?
It would be really good to have a sub-topic under doco for documentation resources (each author under seprate thread, which would allow forum users to rate them)

Subforums for larger 3rd party components & modules
Just a suggestion it might be easier to read the forums if the 3rd party section (http://forum.opensourcematters.org/index.php#9) had separate subcomponents for say top 50 of each 3rd party addons.
While its early days for these forums, it might be easier to keep it tidy by re-structuring it early

Re: Forum table width enlarged ?
hmm, 95 would be better then, just seems 1/10th of desktop space could be used more effectivly

Forum table width enlarged ?
Hi,
it would be nice to have the width of the table to be wider and the grey background to be less, ie maybe have the table width at something like 90% or so.
It would make the posts topic listing readable a bit more at res of 1024/768 and lower plus better use of space.
cheers,
max
