Re: Discuss: Joomla 1.5.1 released
I noticed in step 2 of the installation that the name [Seenu] and the date have changed, but the Sub Release Level still is 0? This is not a big issue, I am just curious. Thanks again for the fantastic work that is done. :D See: http://groups.google.com/group/joomlabugsquad/browse_thread/thread/57...

A system plugin would let you, I guess, use the "afterInitialize".
And a module specify the variable.

Re: Changing Site Language "on-the-fly"
The site language can only be changed on a per user basis and only for registered users, as far as I know. The choice is entered in the database parameters for that user. As a non-registered user has no entry in the db, how would you change the language? Change default language? This is also in db a...

One can choose the files and use dropstuff instead of the Finder.
Usually, this get rid of the invisible files.

Sorry, but trying to open the index.html shows you have no idea how Joomla works.
Impossible here to give a full course.
FYI, the way these 2 icons are placed is defined in many files.

Re: How do I edit a menu title?
Administrator => Modules
In the list of modules that you may filter by choosing mod_mainmenu is a module with the title in question.
You just have to edit the title for that module.
I suggest you read the administration Manual for Joomla 1.0.x

These are your basic menus and not displayed in front-end.
A basic menu title is edited in the mainmenu module where this menu is assigned.
