Thank you
Hi, I thought I leave a thank you note for the migration. As far as I can tell it went fine and all seemed well planned. I never liked the [old] GForge too much - but the new one is miles away and the file download for the user seem to be even less confusing. The design is also nice. Someone must ha...

Re: public SVN-access asks for login when accessed directly not through project
Thanks for the comments... the thing is... I want people to be able to access it directly (because sometimes I give them the link to not have them to go through the source tree)... and I do not see any reason having to visit the project home page first. I am quite sure (just thinking, not proved) th...

public SVN-access asks for login when accessed directly not through project home
Hi, (hope that was not posted before...) Someone told me before he had to login to access the SVN and I said no, I cannot see that to be true... today I saw... If you go directly to: m It asked me to login... however, when I first load the project home: m it later does not ask to login even if I use...

Re: Forum: Possible to create thread writable by me only?
... But if there is once a forum per addon let me know. - that may actually be a nice idea I think. I wonder how many that would be, almost 700 projects on the Forge now, plus those who are not..? Ok, I did not mean there has to be a thread just because the project exist... but then it would probab...

Re: Forum: Possible to create thread writable by me only?
Just a separate forum for my addon... and not for other addons as well may not be appropriate... even though I think it rocks it may not be that special ;-) (Being a forum moderator would probably lead to wrong expectation... being a "Hero" is already enough weight to carry;) I just thought to check...

Re: FAQ: Troubleshooting instances of //
Hmm.. by the quote in my previous post you refered to the global variable "$mosConfig_live_site" which is the value found in the configuration.php. Say you want reference to the file "file.php" using the live site it would be: <?php echo $mosConfig_live_site.'/file.php'; ?> I think it really depends...

Re: FAQ: Troubleshooting instances of //
$mosConfig_live_site; already includes the / into your code, so the second one is where you are getting the duplicate. I am not sure I would agree with that :-) It should actually NOT contain a slash at the end... so I'd suggest to remove it (in the configuration.php) if it is there. (same for the ...

Re: Forum: Possible to create thread writable by me only?
That came to my mind when seeing that the posts in my "Extended Menu" thread are constantly increasing...
So I thought to have the questions/comments separate from my "announcements"/updates would be more "userfriendly".
But maybe I am thinking too much :-)

Is it possible to create a thread which only me can write to? (not being a moderator)

Forum: Delete (own) post(s)
I wonder whether it is possible to delete ones own post (maybe I am just blind though).
In this case I want to delete (as it is double):
http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic ... #msg191553
(If I try to "Report to moderator" I get: "You can't report your own post to the moderator, that doesn't make sense!")

Re: FAQ: "Notice: Only variable references should be returned by reference in...
I think that alone may be misleading. There may be bugs in the optimiser... but a "Only variable references should be returned by reference" notice was triggered also for true "errors" (in PHP 4.4.0+/5.1+ they decided to some changes which made it incompatible a bit but did not really work well befo...

Forum search seem to skip code blocks
Hi,
The forum search seem to skip code blocks. I don't know what I should add... I guess it says everything.
This is sometimes bad when I know something is there but I cannot find it because it is writting within a code block.
Would be cool if that could be changed.
Daniel

But Firefox usually asks you to import those... because Firefox was listening to your KB-hack and pretended the IE is not there?
You could try to use Bookmarks -> Bookmark Manager -> Import

Re: Discussion about: Joomla! 1.0.2 Stability Release now available
I have a question regarding: # Fixed artf1192 : Unpublished Bots That now also unpublished Mambots are executed means that all unpublished Mambots slows the site down and I have to deinstall them... is that really what it should be like it? Even from a user aspect I would expect something different....

Re: Forge for developers, or end users?
I am also missing things for the user... There seem no project home page to link to an online documentation (or I am just to ignorant to find it). And then it needs 3 clicks from the project home page to come to the downloadable files (plus one to eventually download it)... thats 2 more clicks than ...

Certainly a FAQ... may I add a simple thing (though it gets overseen a lot)... Re: Mambo Open Source Development Team - Letter to the community - Discussion
I believe we should not _now_ concentrate too much on spreading the news as it already makes it way... And were would ...
