It's not really that difficult, in the post reply screen, click [ LOAD ] and select your draft.

Re: What happened to the forum today???
I was thinking that the [ SUBMIT ] button being on the far right is the most likely button to push because dialogue boxes have the [ OK ] button on the far right. -- at least they do in OS X, but I just checked my Windows XP and they do appear on the left.

One thing to keep in mind is that if you are subscribed to a forum, you will only receive one notification if there is a new post or reply in that forum until you visit that forum. Likewise, if you are subscribed to a topic, you will only receive one notification on a new reply until you visit the t...

Re: Joomla forums search
Since converting 1.2+ million posts means that they will have to completely rebuild the search index, it is currently in the process of being built, people will just have to be patient until everything is indexed. In the mean time, users can use the Google Search located in the menu bar near the top...

make it -c100 -n100 or more and tell me more about such tests in case it really means nothing. No, the comparison means nothing, not the method. How should this be possible for me? One can't argue about taste, but the layout-change did not improve readability at all. on a laptop the colour-constrasts are too vague. :-[ Seems okay to me on my laptop. Though being a Macbook Pro could have something to do with it. :P and search functionality through google does not seem to be in...

Im not allowed to tell something negative but, here some comparison between this forum main page and main page of a forum currently in test by me in hosted environment: phBB : test-forum = 20 : 1 in best case. Test performed with "ap -c10 -n10" (apache profiler). This means nothing. You’v...

View source and see what you find in the content type line:
You can also try a different browser.
The board is delivering the content in the correct encoding though.

This is a known "feature" of the prosilver phpBB template used here. I wouldn't call it a bug (but I'm placing those quote marks around "feature" very deliberately ;)), it works as designed. There are simply many considerations involved, no one solution is ideal - for my own boa...

Drafts are exactly that: Post Drafts.
So you can type up a reply or topic, save it if you are interrupted, and submit it later.
You can go to Manage Drafts to view all of your drafts, or simply click [ Load ] on a topic if you want to use a draft for a post or new topic.

Use the font changer icon at the top right of the page to change the font size to your desired size. You probably used it to downsize the fonts as they were too big the first day the board was converted: http://img.skitch.com/20080222-ft2xcxw9y36g8yrbbkb2ge3mak.jpg The Viet forum looks fine to me, u...

Will be handled?? phpBB.com is a great example of a very large board using both the built-in search function and the Google integrated search. phpBB.com is a board with more than double the number of posts as Joomla! at over 2.5 million, and yet the Search works great. Have you seen how many times you see a void page? a SQL error page? a end-less waiting for dispalying new page? ??? Are you basing that off this forum? Re: What happened to the forum today???
In-fact many features in phpBB 3.0 (hooks system comes to mind) and even inspirations for features in the development of phpBB 3.2 are as a result from dialogue with the Joomla! developers, so in a way, phpBB3 is influenced by Joomla!

Frankd4, this board is a stand alone board, it is not integrated with the Joomla! side.
If you want to be able to integrate your Joomla! 1.5 installation with phpBB3, you can use Rokbridge.
See the Rokbridge RC3 Release topic for more information.

Hi, I'm very desapointed about the new forum. :( I'm not able to perform search and the forum is very slow. Although only a couple of CSS changes will make the default theme look more like this.
One of the biggest things I’ve noticed is the... bigger text.

Forgot to mention again that I watch phpBB since years and deny to set it up. Patching core is not the way to go when somebody wants a stable system. I’m just curious why you believe you have to patch the core of phpBB3 to get a stable system? I’ve never had to do this with version 3 and have setup...
