Re: J!code, easyeclipse, joomla framework confusion
I found EasyEclipse a couple of years back, and loved it from the start! Am eagerly awaiting J!Code :-* Anyways, perhaps I can assist with a tip or two here! I made some screenshots, trying to show what features I find most useful. Paths, project paths etc in Eclipse http://img174.imageshack.u...

Re: Discussion about : Joomla! 1.1 — Developer Power, User Excitement
1.1 seems very promising indeed!
I am currently not coding any 3PD stuff, but I would like to follow these IRC discussions/sessions - is that possible? Probably do not even need to be able to speak, just read. But what channel/network? And btw, is there an (un)official Joomla irc channel?

rhuk: I'm guessing he meant 130 useraccounts, on "various internet sites". Loads to keep track of, you know.
(btw rhuk: a joomla christmas wish: that you start redesigning the forge to be as nice and useful as your other work (this site in particular)

Re: Stupid Forge News titles!
Sadly, there are a bunch of unintuitive things like this on the forge My previous requests still stands... (when will the "newest projects" and other useful (promised) modules be published anyway?) Ontopic: Just adding the Project name would be sufficient, no need for editing before publishing. Some...

Re: Forum RSS feed?
How about for our own integrated forums? I would like to offer my users a live feed, but I want it to take them to the wrapped forum, not the standalone. I have the cms installed in my web root, smf in a subfolder, with SEF on, but I should be able to link with our without sef, right? Tried these, w...

Forge for developers, or end users?
Forge for developers, or end users? ..why not both? I don't get it. In project overview, why is 15% of the page width donated to describing the project, while the rest of the space just shows graphs of downloads and activity? That info is something the project members/admins would be interest...

Re: SourceForge Tip: E-mail and Discussion Forums
1. How do I monitor projects for news, not just forum and file releases? I can only find "join this project"... 2. What does "join this project" do? Will people expect me to be able to contribute to the project? 3. What is Authorization Keys in "my settings"? 4. Can we have button that makes you mon...

Re: Discussion : Logo Winner Annoucement
I agree with reikimaster on this. Not only is the interlocking hands theme a good one, it shows up in all kinds of art. You could, as others have illustrateed here, link any logo to another one. I think it's professional looking and well designed. I also think the vote is over and decided. Perhaps ...

Re: Discussion about: Logo Competition - Community Vote begins
The bird is still chrashlanding, and not flying freely (meaning it's not pointed straight or upwards) - isn't this a major point? Should be, if this is the selected logo. Wish them all luck, but would like to know more about the meaning behind them. (Yeah, I did read up on them before voting) Yeah, ...

'Other Forums' collapsable?
Hello, I very much like the ability to collapse forum categories. Could you please make the 'Other Forums' collapsable as well? From now on I think this category will be more and more for general chitchat, not necessarily Joomla-related at all. I come to these forums for Joomla-stuff, so the announc...

Seems great, have RSSXT installed, but never really got it working.
Now, if only we can get the feeds from Gallery2 and SMF integrated with this as well

Nice work, lannick. Maybe it will be a little anonymous if it's a lot smaller? Do some tests.
And also, on #3 the heads make it look like they are leaning over the globe, so in that way I think #2 is better, they are standing more tall, so to speak. Something in between #2 & #3? Keep it up.

Woah, 65 pages already... too much! This is also a long post, but please bare with me, and think about these points. All together now... say "Symbolism!" Re: Project Name Chosen- Discussion
I like the meaning of the word, "as a whole" - but I would actually prefer just OSM or something like that. Might be because Joomla just sounds weird in my native language, Norwegian. Would prefer "Jumla", but allright, enough criticism. Just one thing: Is it supposed to be written with an exclamati...
