The fact is, the htaccess delivered with Joomla! pushes loads on servers like there's no tomorrow.  It was so bad, in fact, that even our own servers on joomla.org kept crashing (remember those intermittent outages?).  The .htaccess on our server was changed and there hasn't been a problem since. will this patch be rereleased soon or we ll need to wait long for 1.0.6 i sugest to put it to this release something what is your opinion? We are currently discussing what to do but as it is holiday it won't be a decision today. Stay tuned and use the patches provided on this forum in the meantime.

Which new sef.php are you talking about?

Yeah, good move Ken.

Now me and Phil will go ahead and remove all our code from Joomla! that we wrote in the past 2,5 years in revolt leaving it crippled and delayed for months.

Talk about immature behavior.
