Re: Discuss: Ladies and Gentlemen... here
Right now, the forum choices are 1.0.x and 1.5.x which includes all the Beta and RC posts cluttering things up and confusing matters. I would suggest moving all the Beta and RC 1.5 stuff to a separate area, since much of it is outdated. I would suggest that the 1.5 forums be a clean slate with infor...

Re: Joomla! 1.5 Beta-2 — The Developers' and Designers' Revolution!
The idea is to support 1.0.x for a year after 1.5 has been released. Very good to hear. Given my internal estimates (guesses?) about when Joomla 1.5 will hit, that lines up with my 18-24 months. I would hope that if a security vulnerability is found in the 1.0.xx series and an easy fix is possible,...

Re: Joomla! 1.5 Beta-2 — The Developers' and Designers' Revolution!
That's ok and maybe you could also suggest something about security matters or that the 1.5 has a future... 1.0.x versions are at their last days... better support... and much more... I am going to have a serious beef with Joomla if either of the following things stop in the next 18-24 months: - 1....

Re: Please fix e-mail topic notifications for this forum!!
The strange thing is, the e-mail link I get for THIS topic is fine. As well as some other e-mail notifications. It is only this topic and a few topics in the past:
http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic ... icseen=new
Maybe it is because the initial poster has a _ in their name?

Re: Please fix e-mail topic notifications for this forum!!
If it were % instead of = then it would be converting properly:
%3F with ?
%3D with =
%23 with #
But =3F, =3D, and =23 is meaningless in any urldecode/urlencode situation.

Please fix e-mail topic notifications for this forum!!
When an e-mail notification goes out about a new reply to a topic, the link is mangled like this:
View the reply at: http://forum.joomla.org/index.php=3Ftop ... seen=23new
The correct link is:
http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic ... 6.html#new
I am using Eudora. Please fix!!

Re: Discussion about : Joomla! 1.1 — Developer Power, User Excitement
Is there a discussion by devs and core devs about how node-based content heirarchy is going to be done? I would find such a discussion fascinating to say the least. I'm sure there will be an importer that does its absolute best to preserve everything. Itemids shouldn't have to change, should they? O...
