Right now, the forum choices are 1.0.x and 1.5.x which includes all the Beta and RC posts cluttering things up and confusing matters.

I would suggest moving all the Beta and RC 1.5 stuff to a separate area, since much of it is outdated. I would suggest that the 1.5 forums be a clean slate with information only applicable to 1.5 final and migration from 1.0.x and previous versions of 1.5.x to the current version.

Moderator note; split from announcement (http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic,255764.0.html) to keep that on topic. Moving this to Site and Infrastructure forum.
