Blog post are not the same as documentation, they provide a snapshot in time and when reviewed later can contain wrong information. We have a discussion there and a user just reported that the mbstring param in php.ini caused problems on his semi-dedicated server as it's set to 7 by default, a setting of 0 fixed this.. just a FYI, I have no idea what this is for and what influence this setting has... Thanks for the translation ...
