Just a note. One of the color combinations still uses the same colors but switches the position of two of the colors to break away from the color wheel model. It still resembles microsoft with the colors but not the pattern.

I think slogan has to be "together" with its logo! So for avoiding an abstract idea with an "out of slogan" logo. A logo needs to work without it's slogan...if it doesn't it is worthless. There will be applications of printing that won't allow for a slogan to go on it because of size limitations.
