Re: Forge for developers, or end users?

Thought I'd add my two cents here. The layout is definitely geeked out for coders - having attempted to play around with this thing for a while now, I half expect that a terminal window will pop up and I'll have to type in commands to access anything Here's my short wishlist: 1) Wget functionality. ...

Re: SourceForge Tip: Monitoring

My attempt to monitor a forum produced a "timeout" - gave it a few tries, same result?

Re: SourceForge Tip: E-mail and Discussion Forums

The discussion forums don't seem to be searchable? For instance, the "base" for AKReservations is the forge - the developer has chosen to use the Forge forum as "the" forum for his project. Problem is - I normally use searches on forums to find out if a problem that I'm having has already been solve...

Re: Discussion : Logo Winner Annoucement

I had joked about this earlier, during the voting - But here in the U.S., voting obviously doesn't work Either way we go, we end up with snot-nosed bluebloods running the government. At any rate, I don't like the name or the logo - and I don't expect I'll like the final version either. I was really ...

FAQ: Duplicating Modules, Components, and Mambots

Mambo has a built-in feature for duplicating modules - but duplicating components and associated modules is a tad bit trickier. Now I have zero coding experience - but this process has worked in the past for me. First, you'll need a couple of tools: 1) A robust text editor, capable of searching and ...

Tips and Tricks Section?

I have some tips and tricks to share - but not sure where I would place them. Or if I wanted to find them, where I would look? For instance, I just posted a question relating to "escaping" Mambo's html forms - using a CSV text file to quickly populate a database, rather than entering the data manual...

Re: New Theme is live!

I suppose "pretty please with sugar on top" won't work either?  This really is a gorgeous theme for SMF - I think you're gonna have everyone who uses SMF and sees this in tears. Also rhuk - me and you are like best buds - you could just like... y'know, share it with your very best buddy in the ...
