Re: Showcasing Joomla! at the MySQL Conference & Expo 2007 .ORG-Pavilion?
Ok, as MySQL Conference took place a little bit more than three weeks ago, it's about time to finally write a short report about it... Rob and I have been at the .org pavilion, presenting Joomla! to the interested audience. We met on Sunday evening - that was the first time I ever got into contact w...

Re: Migration of SVN revision history
Is there a way to migrate a repository from the old to new forge? The JEvents project has a lot of development history we don't really want to loose . I;m not a SVN expert but I have been experimenting with svnsync to create a mirror on my own development machine - if this worked then I'd loo...

No worries, take your time. After all, we can switch to english to make the needed adjustments, and switch back afterwards.
Or just use this link: http://forum.joomla.org/index.php?actio ... noreBoards

BTW: The link to "Buddies verwalten" (Edit Buddies) is there now. Thanks!

Re: Site Outage: Forum Upgrade
I just adjusted permissions.. so we all good now? I don't have that option in my profile At least, not when I'm using german as my main language in the profile. I just noticed that it shows as soon as I change the language to english. Then, also a link to "Edit Buddies" shows up, which is not there...

Re: Maybe a 'Bug Fixes' download area
Hi chucknet, if I got you right, you are talking about single patch files for specific bugs? Like for bugs which were found in 1.0.11 and got fixed in SVN? If that's the case, there are several reasons why we don't do that: ⋅ The fixes usually have not been tested completely, they all need...

ROTFLOL, I like that: 20'006. But I guess we are at version 15000 in 18000 years, don't you think?

Re: How to connect to SCM?
At the moment, http (or if configured appropriately, https) is the only protocol supported by SourceForge for Subversion. Hi Jamie, thanks for the info. Does this mean the ssh access is only for cvs? Does https have to be configured appropriately by the users or by the server admins? Since I ...

3. What protocol will be used? Having worked with SVN before I thought it would be svn:// or m. It is used on an other sourceforge site. But here we use http:// . I've been trying for quite a while now to use svn+ssh:// as the protocol. After saving my ssh public key on http://developer.joomla.org/...

Hm, I think someone entered a wrong domain name for the http-redirect. It should be developer.joomla.org instead of .com! [enno@fse-srv:/tmp] $wget scm.joomla.org --01:36:10-- m => `index.html' Resolving scm.joomla.org... done. Connecting to scm.joomla.org[66...
