Re: Building the Ship - IDE
Success! Right after I posted this I tried temporarily hardcoding the XDebug parameter to the mod_cblogin.php login button. The code in the module looks like: $loginPost = sefRelToAbs("index.php?XDEBUG_SESSION_START=ECLIPSE_DBGP&KEY=11948983372104&option=com_comprofiler&task=login");...

Re: Building the Ship - IDE
Well I followed the directions here as best as I could and I have achieved a decent amount of success in one day. I was able to download and install and configure the environment described in http://dev.joomla.org/component/option,com_jd-wiki/Itemid,/id,jbeginners:ide/ I was even able to...

Re: 'Bumping' in the forums
I'm not a moderator, andI don't have any problems with folks bumping their threads. To me its at least some indication that the problem still exists. The suggestion that the poster leave additional information or things they have tried is excellent. Unfortunately, too many fo...

That was in reference to your position in this thread:

Hopefully we can convince the decision makers to reevaluate this process.

Joomla JUG in Tampa/Clrw/St Pete Florida USA!
Hi there, I'm looking for others interested in getting this off the ground.
Please post here if you are in this neck of the woods (or as the locals say, the Jewels of America's Wang!)

Re: How to start a Joomla! User's Group in a City Near You!
wow..I just slogged through this entire thread and its been very enlightening to say the least! I'm all for forming a JUG in the Tampa Florida area (no jokes please). I know of at least 3 other J!ers in my 15k person burb that would probably be members. Hardly a day goes by without a req...

Re: Yet another post on reviewing commercial extensions
The rules have been set up by me and the JED team. Suggestions are always welcome, though I won't guarantee that we will change anything. Fair enough, and thank you Vimes for the link to the other post. I knew this had to have come up before. One more vote for brian, et al on this issue...

Ok.. that link is mostly about phpadsnew.
I was just wondering, is kl_php in the extensions directory? A search brings up zero results.

Re: Yet another post on reviewing commercial extensions
I guess its the moderators judgment if a post is of a commercial dispute nature and that is where the confusion lies. Different moderators my have differing opinions on different days. If someone doesn't think they got their monies worth, then usually they are not allowed to post the reasons w...

Re: Please remove my VM Affiliate review!
Thanks..that gave me a laugh when I saw it posted.
I've spent hours (well a lot of minutes) carefully crafting well thought out and reasoned reviews (IMHO) only to have them rejected.
That time, I posted gibberish that had nothing to do with the product and it was accepted!

Is Kl_PHP still around??
This is not a question about the extenstion, it is a question about the existence of the extension! I have a hell of a time finding kl_php. Is it still around? Even google doesn't show it on the Joomla! site. I've heard some rumors of security problems with it..does that have...

Yet another post on reviewing commercial extensions
I'm sure this has been discussed before, and if there is an existing thread or FAQ, please post a link. My position is this. If the Community allows companies to post commercial extensions on the site and has a review system for these extensions then it stands to reason that buyers should be a...

Please remove my VM Affiliate review!
Its totally bogus. I had many tabs open in firefox and thought I was responding to a totally different thread. I've even went as far as reporting my own review to the ONE THAT REVIEW REVIEWS The wacky thing is that I did want to review the product and report that the product can't ...

Ok, I tried entering another review. I am not asking a support question. I am reviewing the product and the level of support. Please let me know if that is allowed.

well I guess thats progress... Its been almost a month since I wrote it, so I'm not even exactly sure what it said... I don't remember asking a support type question. The product is working well on my site. I thought I was commenting on the level of support from the company, but maybe I'...

Review not posted for IFPortfolio
This is a copy of a post I put in the components forum. I was told to put the part about the posting of my review here I tried entering a review on IFPortfolio about 2 weeks ago, but it still hasn't been posted. I'm pretty sure I entered the review correctly because the system won'...
