Testing in different IE versions

with IE 7 getting more and more standard, but still not widely used, designers need to be able to view their website in IE 7 and IE 6 (or lower), but you can't if you simply update to IE 7.0 as this replaces IE 6 (or lower) You can use a IE 7 standalone, but better would be to use IE 7 as your stand...

Re: Wiki component for Joomla! -> Joomla! documentation

I noticed the joomla dev uses the save mode hack, rsgallery2.net doesn't need that, perhaps this enabled something, I'll ask for the logs

Re: Wiki component for Joomla! -> Joomla! documentation

I had already tried the indexer.php, is it correct that you get a whit screen with only a .gif file on it?

The was already there in the jd-wiki install I got from Chris, which did have the bugs, and adding it to openwiki (NuWiki) had the same result, so no luck there

Re: Wiki component for Joomla! -> Joomla! documentation

for now I'll just use a wrapper and an original install of DokuWiki, one nice benefit is that I now have the most current version of DokuWiki

thanks for you efforts

Re: Wiki component for Joomla! -> Joomla! documentation

Chris,

thank you for sending me the backups. Are you sure that this was a fully working version? The search and backlinking features are still not working. Perhaps it's just my config or system that is the culprit in the this issue.

If all else fails, I'll try a wiki in an Iframe (wrapper)

Re: Wiki component for Joomla! -> Joomla! documentation

I've checked out the differences and I can see where mediawiki is more usefull for Joomla!'s extensive documentation needs, using a database is just more efficient then

I'm going to try to update NuWiki to the latest dokuwiki version myself as I haven't recieved an answer yet,

Hi all, as you might know prosolution has stopped developing for Joomla!, this is unfortionate, as OpenWiki was is a good wiki for Joomla!. At the moment, there is not a good wiki component. OpenWiki has been forked to continue development in NuWiki, but the developer has let me know that he hasn't ...

SVN down

Is the JoomlaCode SVN down? I and someone else cannot connect

also, as stated in http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic,181188.0.html, the website http://www.joomlacode.org/ is also unreachable

edit: TortoiseSVN doesn't say it can't connect, it just doesn't do anything when I try to update my local repository

Re: Cannot login

by the way, when you apply for a Lost password hash and enter your login and press Submit, on the page it says:
Email sent to new address. To finish the process, follow the instructions.

"sent to new address" doesn't make sense to me

Re: forge.joomla.org - down error

Most likely it's the last revision only. The version of SVN (<1.4) used on the Forge server doesn't allow exporting the complete SVN history. I'm sorry, but if that's the case, why bother, we can just create a new project and upload the last revision ourselfs, not to be a pain in the ..., but it is...

when will these migrations be processed? can you give us a rough estimate

O, and I'd just like to say that I think you are dealing with the forge issues correctly, some things are just out your hands that's all, so no hard feelings (as far as I'm concerned), in fact, thanks for providing a solution

Re: forge.joomla.org - down error

euhm, the forge is down now, and certainly not all projects have moved to the new location we (RSGallery2) certainly haven't because we were advised to wait by Antonie as we don't just want to start with a new project, we want to keep our repository history, I believe more projects feel the same the...
