SVN down

Post by Daniel Tulp » Sat Jun 16, 2007 10:57 am

Is the JoomlaCode SVN down? I and someone else cannot connect

also, as stated in http://forum.joomla.org/index.php/topic,181188.0.html, the website http://www.joomlacode.org/ is also unreachable

edit: TortoiseSVN doesn't say it can't connect, it just doesn't do anything when I try to update my local repository

I'm on it. Can't even get to the server with ssh properly, means it's properly locked.

We don't know the cause, we do know the end result. Apache is totally hanging up the server, this is not the first time this week. Brad will probably start with tweaking Apache the same, so that's the same as the joomla.org website. We're hoping to look into some other things as well, so we do not have a single point of failure with regards to the downloading of files.

Dito here, already pinged some people...  might take some time as they are not actually available. Let's hope Tonie will see this  ;)

I've read it now ;), and sent a ping to our hoster. Unfortunately, I can't ssh to the box at the moment, since I'm firewalled currently.

i use rochenhost also and sometimes calling them is a bit faster and considering the importance of the joomlacode site, maybe this could be a good avenue
is it rochenhost?
