Re: Down again
It's not server load, load on the server is fine and within all parameters. The problem is the Postgres connections being taken, until the limit has been reached. Are you saying that Postgres is not releasing connections properly? That sounds like a bug. It I misinterpreted your comment about...

No web, no SVN ...
This is now as bad as the old forge was in my view.
Is there a plan to do something to improve the situation?

Brilliant Thomas ![Cool 8)](./images/smilies/cool.gif)

Thanks

Re: How to monitor a project forum ??
It seems like this option has been removed - I am successfully monitoring a number of project forums but cannot modify these settings or add any new ones.
As a project administrator it makes tracking user feedback completely impractical.

Re: Discuss: Joomla! 1.0.13 Released
@RobS Its not only bridge type components that are having problems - any "component" that uses a task called 'save' or 'apply' without a mosRedirect to wrap it up is badly affected in the backend. I believe this is a bug in Joomla 1.0.13 (Joomla is failing to set the session cookie properly) -...

Re: Discuss: Joomla! 1.0.13 Released
There is very annoying issue with auto logouts in the backend if a component has a task called 'save' or 'apply'. See m I think the problem arises because Joomla fails to reset the session cookie because the headers have already been sent do doGzzip() Joomfish 1.7 is NOT compatible with 1.0.13 becau...

Re: Joomlacode forum notifications have stopped
Hi Tonie
I suspect the problem may have returned - I've not had any notifications for 36 hours or so and having checked the forums/tracker manually I know there are postings I've not received.
Thanks again

Tonie
Thanks for the good work so far. I hope you find a solution.
I long since gave up on notifications from the Joomla SMF forum and unfortunately my participation in these forums plummeted as a result.

Re: Joomlacode forum notifications have stopped
Not sure if its relevant but me email address is on a subdomain of my ISP i.e. [email protected] . Some services seem to choke on this.
Unless something changed at joomlacode this shouldn't be relevant since I used to get the notifications fine.
Thanks

Joomlacode forum notifications have stopped
I've just realised that for some reason I have stopped getting Joomlacode forum messages by email (about 10 days ago from what I can make out). Is this a system change that I missed or could there be a problem? My ISP doesn't block spam (just marks it as spam) so I don't think the problem is t...

Re: Migration of SVN revision history
There was a tiny problem when relocating an existing checked working copy but I could do a fresh checkout and copy and overwrite the checked out files from my working copy.
Thanks again
Geraint
p.s. Note important but the revision numbers were bumped up by about 5-6, would this make any sense?

Re: Migration of SVN revision history
Having one repository is great - we rearranged the tree at one point and got stuck with the orphans from the past. Having one repository will make all this a LOT easier to manage. 1. Looks great in the web browser via the project pages 2. checkout works fine 3. commit worked fine Haven't tried...

Re: Migration of SVN revision history

SVN Migration
Tonie et al I know you've had a huge amount of work to get the migration done but I was wondering if you have any idea when SVN will be migrated? With Joomla1.5beta2 hot off the presses there is a lot of pent up demand to restart the development of 3rd party components. Geraint p.s. I tried to...

1. Final backup will be done on Friday (27.05.2007) afternoon CET (GMT+2), changes made after Friday noon are most likely NOT to be moved. Just to double check - you meant 27.04.2007 right? Thanks for all the hard work. It must be a nightmarish exercise with little mental satisfaction - just ...

Migration of SVN revision history
Is there a way to migrate a repository from the old to new forge? The JEvents project has a lot of development history we don't really want to loose . I;m not a SVN expert but I have been experimenting with svnsync to create a mirror on my own development machine - if this worked then I'd look...

If its not "security sensitive" - do you know what the nature of the problem is?
Just curious why it should be selective in its impact.

Re: Forge emails have stopped coming
I did an experiment and I suspect there may be a problem with email form.
I created 2 new accounts
1. [email protected]
2. [email protected]
The second worked fine but I didn't get the second.
Is there some overzealous domain name testing going on?

Hi z
When you have a change could you remove the following empty CVS repository (it should have been SVN!).

Thanks

I too am looking for this - I accidentally created a CVS repository where I wanted a SVN one and now I can't get rid of it. I've renamed it - "this is a mistake please ignore" but it looks a bit silly.
