Great news indeed - and a big thanx to all of those who contributes so much in order to keep joomla as the best cms for both the novice and experienced user.
Noticed a huge improvement in the "flow" of the core code after the latest nightly builds - things are really getting set.. and i'm gonna download the RC3 NOW
One tip,, while hovering the 1.5 RC3 logo on the frontpage here at joomla = it still says RC2 in the description/title for the link.. Change if wanted
Will continue to test and help getting the Stable released as soon as possible.
