JOOMLA add-ons listed by release

Post by heavensfield » Tue Nov 20, 2007 5:21 am

It sure would be nice if the forum listed the release the add-ons have been tested on. For example. Fireboard shows it is Joomla 1.5 compatible. But is it 1.5RC3 compatible? It sure would be nice to break down the modules by release so as not to spend time installing only to discover it doesn't work with the latest version.

With over 2,000 Extensions available for all versions this would be difficult to implement and maintain. The best way is to identify your requirements and check the Extension out.

I think the best way to improve the extension-search is to list the extensions by when it was last updated. I can't see any system in the result-presentation and good extensions or new extensions are not listed first!

Hi,

when i search for an NATIVE J!1.5 Extensions, the search listet all: Legacy and native Extensions.  :-\

I think the best way is to reorder the JED:

J!1.0.x/J!1.5 Legacy as own Section
J1.5 Nativ as own Section
